WANTED: Chefs with a specialty of serving up

the Word of God to children!

Would you like to spend a whole week at Shake It Up Cafe teaching the secret ingredients for being a follower of God?  At Shake It Up Cafe we will celebrate biblical festivals through dramas, crafts, games, science activities, music, and hours of fun!

There are a variety of options for serving as a leader at Shake It Up Cafe VBS.  Please pray about your involvement in this important ministry.  Consider the value of sharing the good news with children and the blessings gained in this unique opportunity.  Also, remember that you will be supported by other in St. Matthew's community and by God.

VBS Dream Team - Meeting January 30th

Vacation Bible School will be here before you know it!  St. Matthew's is starting to prepare for VBS and I'm hoping you will consider and pray about being involved this year.  We are going to have another amazing theme this year, Shake It Up Cafe: Where Kids Carry Out God's Recipe!

We will be having a VBS "Dream Team" meeting Sunday, January 30 during the Alleluia Choir practice.  I hope that YOU will be able to join us - however if you can't make it to this initial meeting, I would love to have your ideas to share with the group.  Also, we will be looking for LOTS of leaders ("Servers") and station guides ("Sous Chefs") to help make Shake It Up Cafe a FUN and Christ-centered experience for everyone.  Please prayerfully consider participating in these ways!  You can contact me at sarahfitch@msn.com or 843-478-7272.

Shake It Up Cafe VBS will be June 19 - 23 (Sunday - Thursday), so make sure your calendars are marked.  While you're at the calendar, make a note to join us in two weeks for the Dream Team meeting.  We hope to see you then!
